Hi, my name is Kelly. For years, I used the excuse that I didn't need to exercise because I always had a physically active job. And I was too tired when I got done with work since I was a Certified Arborist and climbed trees for 11 years. And then I would always eat whatever I wanted and in larger portions. Now, as a Massage Therapist, I'm always talking to my clients about healthy eating habits and exercise. I also keep my kids active in dance, swimming, and other activities so they learn to have a healthy lifestyle. But, I myself was just sitting on the couch. I would start and stop different exercise programs, but didn't change my eating habits. My weight went up and down, but never seemed like it was out of control. Then my daughter told me I was squishy!! I decided that I needed to take control of my life and start practicing what I was preaching!!

I always thought about coming to Fit Body, but felt a little intimidated and wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money. Then after receiving a card giving me 2 free weeks, I figured I had nothing to lose! I finally decided to give it a try. I went into that first class barely able to do a burpee, but I gave it my all. I couldn't move for 2 days, but I came back, attending class regularly 4-5 times per week. I'm not gonna lie, it was hard. I even got a migraine 3 times after class from straining on pull-ups! But, I kept on pushing on. I got stronger with every rep and now I can do 3 of them without a band!! Push-ups come with much greater ease. I even look forward to leg lifts!

I have reduced my portion sizes, I eat much healthier snacks and really pay attention to what I'm putting in my body. Before I didn't really have any goals, except a number on the scale. Now with the TT Challenge, I wanted to just be healthier and lower my body fat. I lost 7 pounds, 3.3% body fat, and 6.5 inches overall. What I gained has been confidence, in myself and my abilities. I have much more energy and my stamina has increased tremendously. I'm even dancing around with my kids!

I have felt welcomed each and every time that I have walked through the Fit Body doors. And I'm so glad that I did. I just got my 100 visit star put on the wall and I couldn't be more proud of myself. I will continue moving forward on this journey and keep this new lifestyle change. - Kelly Seitz
