For the last twelve weeks I have participated in The Turbulence Training Transformation Contest.  This experience has given me much more than physical results.  

The truth is participating in the program was not my idea.  My wife had approached me several days before the contest began.  She asked if I would do the training with her.  I?ll admit that I was less than enthusiastic.  I already had my own work out regimen and was skeptical about any new work out program, let alone a contest.  

Yet she can be very persistent and convincing.  So we sat down together and watched Craig Ballantyne on You Tube.  All of the work outs I saw were the same exercises that I would already do.  I really wanted to support my wife so I caved.  So I reluctantly posed for my before pictures.  Turbulence Training here I come.

I began to work out alone in the gym in the evenings and sometimes while at work.  The exercises were very much what I would normally do, but there was something different.  I was getting fatigued much faster, but I was using significantly less weight than normal.  The supersets were definitely all that they were cracked up to be.  

Then the interval training had me on the floor soon after.  I have always been into heavy Olympic style lifting and metabolic conditioning.  Turbulence Training has brought the physical results that my other training lacked.  

After only a couple weeks my wife and I decided to join the same gym.  We would meet after work and do TT while our sons would play basketball and swim.  

Our thirteen year old would sometimes even join us for work outs.  My family began to enjoy fitness together.  We all would look forward to meeting in the evenings for our next work out.  I expected that doing TT I would see some physical results.  

I was not prepared for renewed relationships with my family.  My wife and I encourage and motivate each other.  She has become my coach in the gym now, and I couldn?t ask for any one better.    

At home we have all changed our diets.  We now eat clean as much as possible. Our children are making healthier selections and so am I.  My diet has always been an issue.  

I have always loved to exercise, so much so that I would work out so hard that after I could justify eating anything and everything I wanted.  I would read diet fads and recommendations from fitness magazines and convince myself that I could follow them.  Only to find myself shortly after rummaging through the fridge for something to eat.  

Clearly my diet is my biggest down fall.  Craig?s daily messages have helped me curve my belief on food.  He is correct.  I cannot burn off the extra calories with more exercise.  So I began to eat better and use better portion control.   I really had difficulty adjusting to eating this way and I still struggle.  

But with Craig?s constant words of encouragement I refuse to let these set backs  defeat me.  I am going to continue to work on myself and my eating habits.    

The Turbulence Training Transformation Challenge has been a great experience. It allowed me to finally look in the mirror and see all the hard work that I have endured.  I have a new outlook on physical training what really works. Turbulence Training really works, it is not just another here today gone tomorrow craze.  Craig Ballantyne has the formula to make you a better you.
