Angela Drops Over 16 Pounds in Just 12 Weeks with Turbulence
Training On Her Incredible Fat Loss Journey

Although this was a twelve week contest, my journey really began a year and
a half ago.  That is when I sat in front of my doctor requesting a
prequalification letter for a gastric lap band procedure.

At 250 lbs., my health and weight were out of control.  I had several
serious medical issues.  I was now dealing with pre diabetes, high
cholesterol, high blood pressure, and PCOS because of my weight.  I was
completely ignorant as to how I had let my weight spiral so dramatically.

I truly took very little responsibility for the number on the scale.  I
honestly believed that PCOS, a condition that does contribute to weight
gain, was solely responsible for my weight gain.  I also believed that
gastric lap band surgery would be the only thing that could help me.

So there I was sitting in the doctor?s office getting prescriptions for my
symptoms.  Waiting for my letter, the doctor asked me a very important
question.  ?So Angela, how much do you exercise??  Umm what exercise?
Who me? This busy mom of two with two jobs ?  Exercise, I don?t think so, no
time!  No money for that!

Just thinking now about those early thoughts I laugh out loud because I am
such a different person with an entirely different mental attitude.    So I
left her office feeling discouraged and annoyed.  I promptly went home and
defiantly filled out the paper work for the procedure.  I even called to get
financially prequalified for the $16,000.00 procedure.

All along I kept hearing the doctor?s voice getting louder and louder asking
that same question about exercise.  That?s when I decided to truly ask
myself what was my responsibility in my weight gain and my life.

I really never made an effort to change my lifestyle before.  I hadn?t
really ever considered exercise necessary to be skinny.  One of my favorite
sayings is ?A million miles begins with the first step.?

I still remember so clearly putting on those tennis shoes for the first time
and taking those first steps into the gym.  I was scared, overwhelmed,
nervous, unconfident, and unknowledgeable.  At first all I could do was ride
the bike and do circuit machines.

I then began to educate myself on important food choices.  I was learning so
much everyday about nutrition and fitness.  After a year I had lost seventy
pounds and gained so much knowledge.  I had completely changed my attitude
on diet and exercise.  I had made major lifestyle changes for myself and my
whole family.

Once at 180 lbs, I stalled in my weight loss.  For months I committed to
exercise and sought new ways to challenge my body.  I took fitness class
after class.  I started to obsess over the scale and I was working out 6-7
days a week.  I was trying anything to break the plateau.  Everyone was so
excited and kept reassuring me that I looked great, but for me I knew had
had to reach my goal.  I was in the early stages of burnout.

This is the point I think a lot us would get right before reverting back to
our old habits.  That is when I saw my friend Molly.  Molly had entered the
TT contest and she explained to me the theory behind the training.  Her
passion for TT was obvious in her results.  She inspired me to enter the
next TT Transformation Contest and to encourage my husband to enter as
well.

Within the first week of Hot Chicks and Buff Dudes I knew for certain
turbulence training was going to work.  The workouts were challenging yet
very specific.  I loved going to the gym knowing exactly what to do and that
my time there was well spent.  I also realized at that point I was starting
out not nearly as strong as I thought myself to be. Each new day and workout
challenged me further.

My obsession of the scale had changed as well.  I knew that each day I was
giving all that I had to the Turbulence Training and my diet.  Therefore,
knowing I was doing all I could I stopped caring so much what the scale
said.  I now saw my body changing.

I started at 178.3 LBs. Ended at 161.2. I also went from a size 12 to a size
8.

I still have a goal weight, and thanks to turbulence training I will get
there.  Now at 160 lbs. my main goal is to be as strong physically and
mentally as I can be.

You can see from mine and my husband?s pictures that there is no doubt
Turbulence Training works.  What you can?t see is my passion, love and
excitement for Turbulence Training and for a healthy and fit lifestyle.

I am so grateful to my friend Molly, Craig and Turbulence Training for
inspiring us and giving me to the tools I need to continue my
transformation.  I am so excited to continue this journey and inspire others
each day to reach their goals with using Turbulence Training!
