My name is Chuck.  I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and 39 years old.

I have struggled with my weight my entire life.  I steadily gained weight until I met my future wife.  I then started trying to lose weight, which was around 240 pounds in 1999.  At my lightest, I was about 190 pounds but I wasn’t muscular at that weight.  I actually didn’t even look that healthy.  I then started to gain weight again, going back and forth between 220 pounds and 240 pounds.

Tragedy happened three years in a row to my family.  In 2006, my aunt on my Dad’s side passed away due to a health issue.  Almost a year later, my Dad passed away of a heart attack.  Then my cousin on my Mom’s side was killed in a car accident.  That should have been motivation for me to lose weight and get healthier, but that wasn’t the case.

I slowly gained all my weight back and then some.  The heaviest I have ever been was on December 26th 2011 when I was 266 pounds.  It was then, that I finally told myself this has got to stop.  I knew I could do it and was determined this time to make it work.  Like before, I used several workout DVD’s and started eating better.  I was able to get down to 222.8 pounds on May 4th.  Those workouts on the DVD’s were very long (a minimum of 45 minutes but mostly around 60 minutes) and required me to workout between 5 and 6 times a week.  I was able to do it, but I didn’t feel better.  I was tired all the time because I was constantly working out.

While using my last workout program, I was searching for a better way.  Thankfully, I found Turbulence Training.  This was around the time that Home Workout Revolution was being launched.  Even though I was skeptical, I loved the fact that it was mainly a bodyweight program that I could do at home.  It was also only 3 times a week and 30 minutes or so per workout. 

Because of those advantages, I purchased the Home Workout Revolution program and all the bonuses.  I didn’t start it immediately because I didn’t want to quit the program I was doing.  While I was finishing up that program, I read the manuals, watched the videos and joined the forums.  I was convinced, without even doing the first workout, that Turbulence Training was the way to go.

At the end of my previous workout program, I had only lost 6 pounds in 9 weeks.  That was about the same results that I had with all the other programs I had tried before.  I was now ready to jump right into the Home Workout Revolution 12 week program and start my transformation. 

These workouts were intense and I loved that.  After the first week, I had lost over 3 pounds!  I was floored since in the previous 9 weeks I had only lost 6 pounds total.  I continued with the program and was very happy with my results.  Wanting more, I added a Strength and Muscle Accelerator workout for the last 4 weeks.  I’m sure it helped me lose more weight and get more defined.

Throughout the contest, I continued to learn from the forums.  I started counting my calories and eating healthier (as much as possible anyway).  I then read about a program called Eat Stop Eat.  I was intrigued by it but thought that I could never do it and wasn’t sure it would even work.  I didn’t buy it right away, but I wish I had.  I purchased the program with 3 weeks to go in the contest.  The spent the first week reading it and by the end of the week I convinced myself to try it.  For the last 2 weeks of the contest, I incorporated it twice each week with great success.  I lost 7 pounds during those 2 weeks alone using Eat Stop Eat with the Home Workout Revolution.

I am completely happy with my results and will continue my journey using the Turbulence Training programs and Eat Stop Eat plan to reach my ultimate goal of being the healthiest I can be.  I’m confident it will happen soon with these great tools.
